Anytime you want to make a call, simply dial the toll free access number from your registered telephone line, and then dial the number you're calling! There is no longer a need for PIN numbers since we authenticate our members via their registered phone line. Many of our members put their access number into the speed dial program on their phones for quicker dialing. Do I need to switch from my current telephone service?No. It doesn't matter who your current local or long-distance provider is, you don't need to do anything but dial the access number provided in order to take advantage of unlimited long distance. Can I only call at certain times?You can make a call whenever you want! Not just on the weekends or after 9pm... anytime you want! Call early, call late, call anytime! In fact, call as much as you want! The choice is yours! Are there any additional hidden fees?No. Once you are signed up for the service you will only be billed one low monthly flat rate for as many long distance calls as you want to make! The $29.95 plus taxes includes all the fees, and surcharges. There are no cancellation fees, per minute charges, per call charges, or any other hidden charges. Can anyone sign up?Yes, anyone over 18 years old can sign up. We believe that this service should be available to everyone. All you need is a credit card or checking account and a landline phone that you want to make unlimited long distance calls from. Do I have to commit to a long-term contract?Absolutely not. You can discontinue the service anytime by calling our customer service department (9:00am EST to 7:00pm EST) at 1-877-374-3969. Do I get a bill in the mail?No confusing bothersome bills. EZ1Rate.Com has eliminated the hassle of having to write checks to pay your bill each month. We will simply charge your credit card or debit your checking account the amount of your flat monthly fee. Does this plan cover international calling also? or Do you have an international plan?Sorry, International calling is not included in the EZ1Rate.Com Unlimited Long Distance Plan and we do not currently offer a separate international calling plan at the moment. Do I need a computer or special equipment?No. You only need a landline/wired telephone to use the service. Does the person I'm calling have to be an EZ1Rate.Com Unlimited Long Distance customer?No. You can call anyone, anytime, anywhere in the Unites States for one low monthly fee. Why don’t all the big phone companies offer unlimited calling plans?Big phone companies are often unable or unwilling to support unlimited calling plans due to their legacy network infrastructure. A large carrier recently announced an “unlimited plan,” which is only unlimited when calling another customer of the same carrier. If not, the caller is charged a high per minute rate. With EZ1Rate.Com Unlimited Long Distance, you can call anyone in the United States anytime. Can I use my Caller ID Block?No. Our system needs to be able to recognize your phone number to allow your call to be delivered. If you are using caller ID Block you may have to disable it prior to each call or you may have to discontinue use of the caller ID Block. How do I disable my Caller ID Block?To Temporarily Disable: Dial *82 prior to dialing your access number. (Each time) To Permanently Disable: Call your Local Telephone Company and request to remove this feature. Can I make phone calls from any phone?In order to maintain the EZ1Rate.Com Unlimited Long Distance Plan at such low prices, you can only make calls from the phones that share the same line as the phone line/number that you registered for service. Can a home with 2+ lines use one account?Each account is tied to one phone number only. Homes with multiple phones sharing the same phone line/number can use the same EZ1Rate.Com account. However, if you have two or more lines in the home (ex. Parent's line and a child's line), separate EZ1Rate.Com accounts must be registered for each phone line. Each account must be registered under different names, credit cards, and phone numbers. Can a customer sign up more than one account?Yes, since EZ1Rate.Com is an unlimited usage account, we assume that one account per customer is satisfactory for general needs. However, we do understand that some homes have multiple residential lines and the owners may want EZ1Rate.Com service on more than one line. In those cases, EZ1Rate.Com allows for one customer to sign up more than one line for the service. In doing so each account must be registered under a different name, credit card, and phone number. How do I sign up?Signing up is easy and takes only a couple of minutes. Just complete our online signup form and your service will be activated within one business day. What is EZ1Rate.Com's consumer privacy and security policy?EZ1Rate.Com would like to assure you that we do not: • Collect personal information from you unless you provide it to us. • Provide or sell the names and addresses of our customers [site users] to outside vendors. EZ1Rate.Com. does: • Safeguard customers' information from unauthorized access. • Collect, maintain and use customer information as necessary to provide the most helpful and targeted products and services to meet customers' needs (e.g. customer care or new products or services). • Honor customers' requests to remove their names from our telephone or mail solicitation lists. • Maintain confidentiality of customer information when undertaking projects with other companies.
